We value your privacy and give you control over your data. If you wish to delete your SmartSpendr account and associated data, follow the steps below.
1. Email us at support@smartspendr.app from the email address linked to your SmartSpendr account.
2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
3. In your message, please confirm you want to delete your account and include your registered email address. You may optionally share your reason for leaving.
4. We may ask you to verify your identity to protect your account.
5. We will process your request and notify you by email once completed.
• Account information (name, email, profile details)
• Transaction records and financial data you added
• Linked wallets, categories, and notes
• Anonymized or aggregated analytics used to improve SmartSpendr (no personal identifiers)
• Data required for legal or regulatory compliance (retained for up to 90 days where applicable)
All personal data associated with your account will be deleted within 30 days of your confirmed request, except for data we are legally required to retain.
You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
